THE 80's FEELGOOD 2200!

Hi and welcome to the download page of the best list of 80s Soul, Funk, Dance, Jazz and Boogie tunes ever put together! How did it get here? During 2008, discussions in the  Chatroom @ DJ Pieter's Friday Kickoff Show www.dancegrooveradio.com  sparked an idea. A Top 100 was compiled by Conde, which proved to be much too small. DJ Luiz said "Why not make it 2000?" That target was reached in 2010. But with so many great 80s tunes still to be listed and heard, we can announce that work continues to add many more great tracks........

The new updated Feelgood 2200 List dedicated to all the amazing Artists, Musicians, Writers, Producers, Mixers and Labels of that Golden Era.

PLAY YOUR IMAGINATION!

Every track listed is in the Author's original vinyl collection (he was there back in the day) with many repeated in original CDs or compilations. It's hard to beat the sound of vinyl though! The list is purely for fun and does not represent sales. The Top 250 Artists were carefully selected to represent a good spread of the finest music ever created! Each further block of 50 (each PDF page) can be seen as a listenable "show" in its own right, with an Artist rarely being repeated within that section. You can often find particular tracks connected by Label, Producer or Mixer etc. The PDF download is fully searchable. (Tip: type in a name or title or year in the search box).  Download  Adobe Reader  if required, just choose the version you need. Watch out for the Feelgood 2250 coming next!

A few stats for you: Most Listed Artist: Change (25 Entries). Most Popular Year: 1982 (512 Entries).   Total approximate playing time of all 2200 tunes: at least  9 days continuous :)

A question often asked is "Where can I find, learn and listen to the music?" A very good place to start is  www.discogs.com  Try the "Appears On" feature which often has links to current compilatations available etc. We hope you find the list enjoyable, naturally the best fun is actually listening!  What better way than checking out:
